HAIL seeks partnership opportunities to provide more homes
Housing Association for Integrated Living (HAIL), is seeking partnership opportunities with property developers, estate agents and private sellers, to support them provide more homes.
Founded in 1985, HAIL provides high quality social housing and professional tenancy support services, primarily to people living with mental health difficulties. The housing association recently launched its new strategic plan, where it announced plans to provide 300 new homes over the next five years.
To support their growth plans, HAIL is now seeking development opportunities of single and multi-unit homes.
Commenting today (17.01.24), HAIL Development Manager Claire Organ, said: “HAIL is acutely aware of the demand for social housing. As a specialist housing association primarily supporting people living with mental health difficulties, we are actively looking for opportunities to provide more homes.
“We are encouraging property developers, estate agents and people thinking about selling sites and properties to contact us about opportunities for HAIL to purchase and develop more homes. As an approved housing body, we provide social housing to people on the local housing list and work closely with the local authority on all new homes. All our properties and tenancies are professionally managed by our housing and support teams.
“We are mainly aiming to purchase one and two bed units, but we will also explore three bed units. We also have capacity to deliver larger development projects, Part V opportunities and repurposing of suitable vacant units. We have an extensive track record and expert resources to deliver projects efficiently and collaboratively.
“The more homes we can provide, means that more people and families in the county who could potentially be at risk of homelessness, have a supported stable and secure home. If you are interested in discussing potential opportunities with HAIL for us to provide more homes, please contact our development team at [email protected] or 01-6718444.”
